 is an international conference on industrial applications of electronics, control, robotics, signal processing, computational and artificial intelligence, sensors and actuators, instrumentation electronics, computer networks, internet and multimedia technologies. The objectives of the conference are to provide high quality research and professional interactions for the advancement of science, technology, and fellowship. Papers with new research results are encouraged for submission. Topics of interest include but are not limited to:

  • Control Systems & Applications (TPC-1): Estimation and identification techniques - Advanced control techniques - Intelligent control - Vehicular technology control - Control in medicine & biology - Aerospace control techniques - Specific control hardware & software - Remote control techniques. Co-Chairs: Farhat Fnaiech & Pierre Melchior.
  • Electrical Machines & Drives (TPC-2): AC motor drives, reluctance, SR drives and special drives - Drive control issues, observers and sensorless methods - Drive applications - Drives testing and diagnostics - Electrical machine design and modelling - Special machines and actuators - Thermal, noise and vibration issues - Machine testing and diagnostics. Co-Chairs: Greg Asher, Ali Emadi & Mario Pacas.
  • Power Electronics (TPC-3): Power electronic devices - Power electronic converters, modulation and control - Modelling and simulation - Power electronics and power quality - Power converter applications in power systems, renewable energies and energy management - Power converters for vehicular applications. Co-Chairs: Franck Betin, Carlo Cecati & Mariusz Malinowski.
  • Sensors, Actuators and Systems Integration (TPC-4): Intelligent sensors/actuators and multisensor fusion - Micro-sensors and micro-actuators - Micro-nano technology - Electronic instrumentation - Micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) - Systems on Chip (SoC) - RF systems integration - Integrated optics and related technologies. Co-Chairs: Philippe Benech & Kouhei Ohnishi.
  • Signal & Image Processing (TPC-5): Digital signal processing techniques - DSP implementation - Speech processing - Image processing- Remote sensing - Computer vision - Virtual reality systems - Multimedia applications. Co-Chairs: Abdelaziz Bensrhair & Alberto Broggi.
  • Industrial Informatics (TPC-6): Infrastructures for industrial informatics - Factory automation - Distributed collaborative systems - e-logistics - Security & safety applications - Products & manufacturing systems - Flexible manufacturing systems - Human-machine interfaces - Industrial communication systems - Process automation. Co-Chairs: Eric Brassart & Giuseppe Buja.
  • Mechatronics & Robotics (TPC-7): Mechatronics systems - Intelligent systems - Complex electro-mechanical systems - Agent-based control - Intelligent actuators - Industrial, service and biomedical robots - Autonomous mobile robots - Humanoid robots - Multi-robot teams - Human-robot interface - Vision-based robots.
